Monkey Bidness Music

Monkey Bidness Music is a collective of songwriters, united under one banner, for the purpose of creating and producing our own music.  Founded in 1999, by Bill Cole, Jere Ellis, Wardlaw Steele and John Nichols, Bill Davidson joined the group in 2000 and the company has existed since.  The idea was to create a company that was geared towards the writer, so very little overhead goes into the company.  Thus, any success to be had is had by the writers, themselves.

With very few exceptions, all songs written by Bill Cole, Jere Ellis, Bill Davidson and Wardlaw Steele are published by Monkey Bidness Music.  Those exceptions are:

San Bernadino, by Bill Davidson (Balmour Music, BMI)
Tennessee Central, by Wardlaw Steele (             Music, BMI)

All songs by John F. Nichols; John F. Nichols and Susan Breining Oven; and John F. Nichols and Dale J. Brown are published by Thurnic Music Co.

All collaborations between John F. Nichols and the other members are published jointly by Monkey Bidness Music and Thurnic Music Co.
