Carla C

Bill Cole - 1983

Written as a goodbye love song to the woman who would become his wife, "Carla C" was actually written to the cruise ship on which she was going to work for a year.  We can attest, the Carla C brought her home, safe and sound.

In 1994, sailing under the name Pallas Athena, the ship caught fire while docked in Athens. Greece. It was destroyed and taken out to sea and broken up.  Bill and Gwen remain.

Bill Cole - acoustic guitar, vocal; Jere Ellis - bass guitar; Wardlaw Steele - Tenor saxophone
