2000 Monkey Bidness Music
When Wardlaw moved to California in 2000, Bidnessmen mourned what they perceived as losing one of the most talented members of the band. Jere began work on a new song - a tribute to Wardlaw, to be played at the next party they had booked, New Year's Eve, when Wardlaw was expected back in town for a family holiday visit. Jere handed over his pretty well formed idea that needed lyrics, to Billy and John who each added two stanzas (and Billy wrote the words to Jere's bridge), and the song became an affectionate roast, full of band inside humor.
